Met andere woorden in België moeten de nieuwe voertuigen gehomologeerd worden of al ingeschreven zijn geweest volgens de Europese wetgeving, Inschrijven kan via de DIV,RDW of TUV en ook verzekerd doormiddel van een verzekerings document.. Als de voertuigen vroeger zijn ingeschreven is een EC Certificate of Conformity niet meer nodig .In Spanje is EC Certificate of Conformity nog steeds wel nodig voor ook voor een gebruikte golfkar met nummerplaat zie reglement Europese vordering 168/2013.

In Europa moeten de L6e en L7e voertuigen (bv nieuwe golfkar) beschikken over een EC Certificate of Conformity (COC of een inschrijving. Als u een COC of een bestaande inschrijving bezit van het elektrisch voertuig, dan kan u het voertuig overal in Europa inschrijven. Ieder lid van de Europese Unie is verplicht de voertuigen met de juiste bijhorende inschrijving en of COC te aanvaarden. In Spanje en Nederland moet u altijd met uw voertuig wel naar de keuring. Daar zijn wel kosten aan verbonden.

Existing vehicles with existing registration can change ownership and use public roads
In Europe, L6e and L7e vehicles (e.g. new golf cart) must have an EC Certificate of Conformity (COC or a registration. If you have a COC or an existing registration of the electric vehicle, you can register the vehicle anywhere in Europe. Every member of the European Union is required to accept the vehicles with the appropriate accompanying registration and or COC. In Spain and the Netherlands, you always have to take your vehicle to the inspection. There are costs involved.
Existing golf cart vehicles that were registered are happy to continue driving.
